Safe ride through Sophomore year! I would like to agree to the common notion that Sophomore year is like a rollercoaster – the busiest time I had ever been, but also the most memorable time I had yet in High School. Though the rigor of my APs (AP Bio and AP CSA) along with additional activites really challenged me academically, I can state with confidence that this challenge was what enabled me to grow in both resilience and character.
Especially by the end of AP seasons and Student Council election (by the way, I was elected as 11th-grade representative for the 2023-24 school year!), I was filled with so many fun school events that time flew by in a flash. Overall, I am so grateful for the people around me and God who helped me achieve all the things I never imagined of. The awards that YISS gives out at the end of the year truly caught me by surprise when they called out my name.
Without further ado, here we go: list of end-of-the-year awards!
I received a total of nine awards from various departments.
Out of all, I was most amazed at National Honor Society Scholarship Award, which was presented to only one individual out of the entire school!

Thank you guys for reading and hope you had an amazing year as well! Junior year, here I come.
